up next is the raddest of all starburst, the Very Berry Starburst, or "blue starburst."
these things are so rad. now, normal starburst is no slouch, so you're probably asking yourself, "now are these starburst truly rad enough to supplant normal starburst as the raddest of all starburst candies?" first of all, good question. second of all, HECK YES! these starburst reside in the highest echelon of fruit snacks, and if you're looking for a radical candy, this definitely counts.
like any pack of starburst, there are 12 taffies in each pack, three each of four different flavors. the four flavors in this radical collection are blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry. if you're "berry" observant, you're probably noticing a "berry" obvious theme. berry good, these do all have something in common; they are all ultra rad!
the blackberry candy comes in a purple wrapper. it's the sweetest and mildest of the four, but it holds up on its own for sure. this is probably my least favorite of the four, but that is a case of the other three just being my three favorites. as the worst of the four, this sets an incredibly high floor. this one reminds me more of laffy taffy than starburst, really.
the blueberry candy comes in a blue wrapper. it has a very pure berry taste to it, and i would imagine that this is intended to be the cherry of the bunch, but it ends up as one of the stars in the pack. these starburst really hold up well against any other flavor, and it's an essential part of what makes these starburst so rad.
strawberry. you already know. this starburst is swag.
the raspberry candy comes in a blue wrapper. this is the noise. this is the heart and soul of very berry starburst. these are the alpha, the omega, the ultimate. this is the stuff that genies eat. the fact that there are three of these in a pack of VERY BERRY STARBURST makes this candy 5 hype out of 5
i give it 87 radicals out of 100, and 5 hype out of 5, making it "legit hyphy"
*shoutouts to my good friend clay, who got me this candy and sponsored this edition of "kuzma's rad candy blog." happy thanksgiving everyone!

peanut butter m&m's
if you like peanut butter, and if you like m&m's, you have to check this next candy out:
peanut butter m&m's
these things are definitely rad! these lil' jokers have been around for almost 15 years now, but they're still the new kid on the block when it comes to the m&m's family, and you know it by this candy's RAD attitude!
now, i know what you're thinking: "so, these are basically just reese's pieces, right? you're talking about reese's pieces." well, this is FOR SURE a different candy than reese's pieces, and if you want to know where i side on that debate, well; the second post of this rad candy blog isn't about reese's pieces.
starting from the core of this candy, it is a rich disc of peanut butter about the size of a plain m&m, surrounded by a thin chocolate shell, which is further surrounded by an exterior colored candy coating. there is also a lowercase "m" on the candy's exterior. the layers of the candy are balanced fairly well, and this variety of m&m has a bit more of a nuanced flavor than its older brothers, but it's still COMPLETELY RAD. they're slightly larger than plain m&m's, but not all mutant like peanut m&m's. they actually have a very consistent flavor and appearance, but they do taste a lot like if reese's pieces also had a thin chocolate shell.
i give it 90 radicals out of 100, and 3 hype out of 5, making it "yeah, hype"

simply caramel milky way
welcome to the first and last blog you'll ever need to read about which candy is best. it's 11 months and 3 weeks until halloween, so it's time to start thinking about "WHICH CANDY IS BEST?"
i know what you're thinking: "most candy is best." well, you're right, but some candy is most definitely not best, and so this isn't going to be a blog about Almond Joy and/or Dots. instead, you'll get raw, IN-YOUR-FACE, extremely rad reviews of the ultimate candies; sweet, sour, savory, spicy, and bitter alike.
up first, the Simply Caramel Milky Way
now i know what you're thinking: "come on, what about the regular Milky Way? the nougat isn't bad." you're right. the nougat isn't bad. i'd go as far as to say that milky way brings the #1 S-tier nougat game. however, milky way also brings the #1 S-tier caramel game, and so you have to check this candy out! it is an exercise in minimalism from a design perspective, but this is truly a candy that knows how to play to its strong suits.
not really much to explain here. it's chocolate and caramel. the caramel is fairly dense, but it's not very gummy, so it's only a little more dense than your standard Milky Way. i see this more as a separate candy bar than a Milky Way without nougat, but for those who are extremely against nougat, this could be right in their... sweet spot.
i give it 91 radicals out of 100, and 4 hype out of 5, making it "super hype"
